Now that
December is finally here I’m getting very excited for the weeks ahead. I really love this time of year because I
enjoy hearing about all the wonderful things that people are going to make and bake
for the holidays. I know one thing I’m going to be making this Christmas; it’s
actually something that I’ve made for Christmas for the past two years that my
family really enjoys it’s Kraft’s Chocolate Mousse Torte.
This recipe is pretty easy to make and only takes about 20 minutes to prepare. However,
this recipe does require a bit of time for refrigeration nevertheless I still
recommend that you try and save a spot for this treat at your table this
holiday season.

Cinnamon Roll Dutch Apple Pie
I know when
many people think about Thanksgiving their first thought most likely involves a
turkey but when I think about Thanksgiving my first thoughts are about the
desserts I get to enjoy after the turkey. While I was searching for new
desserts I could make this Thanksgiving I came across a recipe that involves
combing two of my favorite foods into one amazing dessert. This amazing recipe
is “Cinnamon
Roll Dutch Apple Pie,” and as the name suggests this pie uses Pillsbury’s
famous cinnamon rolls and Granny Smith apples to make one sweet pie.

Brownie Brittle
As I mentioned
in my first blog post, one of my favorite recipes is for brownies and yesterday
I found something that let me enjoy my favorite dessert in a whole new way.
While I was shopping in Sam’s Club I discovered “Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle,” and as soon I
took my first bite I was hooked. These amazing treats give you the taste of a
brownie but have the crunchy texture of a cookie. Although, I think the best
part about the brownie brittle is that there are four different flavors
chocolate chip, toffee crunch, mint chocolate chip and salted caramel. So far I’ve
only gotten to try chocolate chip and toffee crunch but I can’t wait to get my
hands on the other two flavors. I’m so happy that I stumbled upon these treats
and I would recommend that all brownie lovers give brownie brittle a try.

Oreo Turkey
As we come to
the end of the first week of November we are now one week closer to “Turkey Day.”
One of things that many people love about Thanksgiving is the food especially
the turkey and this video will show you how to make a very unique type of
turkey the “Thanksgiving Oreo Turkey Cookie.” I think that this sweet treat
will add a festive touch to anybody's Thanksgiving.

Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween!!! I hope all you ghouls and gals had a frightfully fun filled night. I had a fangtastic time at my Halloween party; it was filled with lots of tricks, treats and countless creatures. A lot of the things I made were pretty easy and didn’t take that long to make and nearly every food was from or inspired by the Pillsbury Company. One of the things I made was Pillsbury “Crescent Mummy Dogs” these were very simple to make and everyone really enjoyed them. Some of the other things I baked were Pillsbury Funfetti Halloween cupcakes, Pillsbury Funfetti Halloween cookies and Pillsbury Funfetti Halloween brownies. All of these amazing foods helped to make this Halloween a very memorable and wonderful night.

Funfetti Cupcakes
One
of my favorite things about birthdays is making cupcakes and last week was my cousin’s
birthday so I decided to make her some cupcakes to celebrate her birthday. I
made her cupcakes using Pillsbury Funfetti Mix and Pillsbury Confetti Funfetti
Vanilla Frosting. I was really happy how they turned out after they finished
baking and once I gave them to my cousin she said they were delicious.
